A Canadian accused of running a sex tourism business in
"I remember one of my meetings during my early 'anti trafficking networking' days with around 3 dozens of brothel-keepers and pimps. The meeting was in the own den. It went on from
First, I finished explaining to them how after legalization they will be required to maintain several registers for more than 6 government departments, face regular check up visits by the officers of more than 6 government departments, file annual or quarterly returns to all of them and still would not be allowed to keep minors, Bangladeshi illegal migrants, any trafficked victims, as well as any HIV positive women without having to pay heavy bribes to petty officials of more than 6 government department who would keep knocking at their doors every now and then.
After that I asked them as to what made them think that once the trade gets legalized the national and multinational corporate giants who ram into every marketable field would let the current brothel keepers and pimps own the sex trade any longer? They had no answer. In fact they had a negative answer. Their faces turned pale.
After explaining a couple of more points I realized that I was not needed there any longer. I left the place victoriously. Soon the lobbies of the brothel keepers and pimps started actively opposing legalization of sex trade.
Once legalized you never know who actually will run the sex trade. Rather who would not?

To that extent the performance of the German government on penalizing its own nationals for sex tourism is good although it is also one of the largest suppliers of sex tourists. We must not tolerate sexual exploitation of children under any circumstances. It doesn't matter who does it. We must take up the matter more seriously when the exploiter is a person who is responsible to take care of the child and has some authority over the child.
Several thousands of Indian children are sexually exploited in this country every day by people of various race, religion, creed, caste, skin colour, and nationality. A majority of these exploiters is that of the people of Indian origin, nationality, and skin colours.
I have repeatedly stated that paedophilia and paedophile are erroneous references. Literally they mean a person who loves a child. It conveys something innocent or even divine. These are child predators and must be addressed accordingly.
But some of the organizations, activists, and media agents, in the destination countries like
Wait a minute! Is it so or there is something more to it? Just the way media look for something 'hot' and sensational that sells. On some counts the NGOs are on par with the electorally interested politicians, and the Bollywood stars who believe that the 'publicity show' must go on.
** Most importantly, The Women & Child Development Department of Government of
