Plan India has partnered with Meow FM 104.8 and Accor Services on the World AIDS Day campaign “Pin on a Million Hopes” to show their support for the affected million. This year, YOU can show your support by voting in favour of the Adolescent Education Programme (AEP).
Visit http://www.planindia.org/redribbon/ and Vote ‘YES’ for the Adolescent Education Programme in our schools and make your opinion count.
The aim of AEP is to provide scientific knowledge, inculcate positive attitudes and impart life skills to young adolescents to help them to cope with the challenges of growing up. It is unimaginable that our government would oppose the need for sex education and HIV and AIDS awareness among our children. 8 Indian states are opposing the AEP on the grounds that it is counter to India ethos.
Your petition will be handed over to the authorities and decisions makers.
