Our country is suffering with a danger menace of corruption. Citizen should be feeling empowered to lodge complaint freely against corruption and their interest should be saved and secured by citizen group. An independent platform should be needed that when ever a citizen lodged a complaint against corruption and he./she harassed should be dealt through this platform, a national level citizen group platform should be form with branches in all over country and districts.

Citizen should be feeling empowered to lodge complaint freely against corruption and their interest should be saved and secured by citizen group. An independent platform should be needed that when ever a citizen lodged a complaint against corruption and he./she harassed should be dealt through this platform, a national level citizen group platform should be form with branches in all over country and districts.

Mamoon Akhtar is the Founder-Secretary of Samaritan Help Mission (SHM), a voluntary NGO located in Tikiapara, one of the worst slums in Howrah district of West Bengal. He has been featured in the most prominent English Newspaper of India viz. Times of India on 25th December 2005 in the special report entitled “India’s Idols - Uncommon Heroes: Legends In Our Midst
